Foscarini Folio Wall Light by Alessandro Vecchiato and Carlo Urbinati reimagines blown glass as a modern, sculptural wall lamp. The Folio range uses traditional glasscraft language in a pared-back form to deliver reflected, diffused illumination ideal for living rooms, hallways and design-focused interiors.

The light reads as a flat, rectangular sheet with a subtle outward curve and two slightly folded corners — a minimalist 'folded paper' silhouette. The diffuser is finished in a matte, acid‑etched white that preserves the design's airy feel while softening the surface glow.

The diffuser is hand‑blown cased glass, hot‑bent and acid‑treated for a frosted appearance. The mounting plate and housing are formed from aluminium and die‑cast zamak with an epoxy powder coat, with small metallic fasteners visible at the sides for a deliberate industrial detail.

Folio provides soft, glare‑reduced light by combining a large frosted surface with indirect, wall‑reflected illumination. The design is intended to create even ambient light rather than focused task lighting, making it perfect for mood and architectural accenting.
