Foscarini Filo Floor Lamp is a sculptural floor lamp from the Filo range, designed by Andrea Anastasio for Foscarini. Its artistic, deconstructed concept turns functional parts into visible features, making the lamp as much a decorative object as a source of light for indoor living spaces.

The design centers on a slim powder-coated metal stem and flat circular base with a fabric-covered braided cable that is intentionally draped and hooked along the stand. The Filo is offered in predefined appearances: Emerald King, Teodora, Eastern Coral and Amethyst Queen.

Craftsmanship is front and centre: the base and stem are metal with a matt finish, the cone shade is moulded porcelain, and the two decorative beads are hand-blown, mouth-blown glass. The cable is textile-covered, and the arrangement gives the lamp a jewellery-like presence.

Lighting is semi-diffused and directed downwards by the porcelain cone, making the lamp suitable for ambient room lighting with a focused reading or task accent. The lamp ships with a G9 LED retrofit bulb (4W, 3000K, 400 lm, CRI >80) and is operated via the on/off switch on the cable.

The Filo is rated IP20 for indoor use and includes a standard plug and one-year manufacturer warranty. Note that the on/off cable switch provides simple operation; no external driver is required for the included LED retrofit bulb.
