The Foscarini Chouchin Pendant, designed by Ionna Vautrin for the Chouchin range, is a compact, lantern-inspired suspension lamp in hand-blown cased glass that blends contemporary form with traditional Japanese-paper-lantern cues. It is engineered to deliver soft, diffused ambient light while also providing focussed downward illumination.

The pill-shaped white diffuser is completed by a slim coloured collar in the 'Reverse' treatment, creating a crisp visual contrast and a distinctive silhouette. Its compact footprint keeps the design clean and sculptural, perfect for a variety of interior settings.

Crafted from hand-blown cased glass with a plain liquid glossy finish, the diffuser pairs with a stainless steel suspension cable and a transparent electrical cord for a neat, floating appearance. The ceiling canopy incorporates a galvanised metal bracket and a glossy white ABS cover.

Light is emitted as a warm, even glow through the white glass, while the open collar directs task light downward. The fitting ships with an E27 LED retrofit lamp (21W, 2700K, 2,581 lm, CRI >80) and is dimmable so you can tune the mood.

The Chouchin Pendant is rated IP20 for indoor use and includes a canopy decentralisation kit; suspension height is adjustable during installation. Manufacturer’s warranty is 1 year.
