The Foscarini Caboche Pendant is a suspension lamp from the Caboche range, designed by Eliana Gerotto and Patricia Urquiola. Its jewel-like silhouette and transparent bead motif reference both classic jewellery and contemporary Italian design, making it ideal for living rooms, dining areas and other interior spaces that benefit from ambient, decorative lighting.

The lamp’s oblate spheroid shade is composed of numerous transparent PMMA spheres set on transparent PC arches, producing a honeycomb-like, airy form. The Caboche Plus is available in Grey and Clear finishes to suit modern or softer schemes.

Craftsmanship combines precision moulded PMMA spheres with an internal structure of powder-coated steel sheets and PC arches. The light source sits on an aluminium disc for heat dissipation and is shielded by opaline and satin-finish PMMA diffusers. Spheres attach via a refined twist-lock system for a crisp, clean assembly.

Light is diffused and scattered through the dense array of spheres to create a sparkling, refracted glow rather than a harsh point source. A double-sided LED board engineered for the design provides even, ambient illumination suited to homes and hospitality settings where atmosphere matters.

Installation uses a three-point steel cable suspension and a separate power cord; a white ceiling canopy is supplied and an electric decentralisation kit is available. The fitting carries an IP20 rating and comes with a one-year manufacturer warranty.
