The Foscarini Caboche Pendant is a suspension pendant from the Caboche range, designed by Eliana Gerotto and Patricia Urquiola. Built around transparent PMMA spheres and clear polycarbonate arches, it delivers decorative, diffused indoor illumination with a contemporary, sculptural presence.

The Caboche Plus restyles a classic refractive chandelier into a modern toroidal form. Its doughnut-shaped ring is densely covered in small, faceted PMMA spheres that create a sparkling, jewel-like surface while slender PC arches and slim steel cables maintain a floating, minimalist profile. The fixture is offered in two sizes.

The lamp body comprises two powder-coated steel sheets that house a double-sided LED board mounted on an aluminium heat dissipator. Spheres attach via a new twist-lock system to the transparent polycarbonate arches, and the LED assembly is protected by opaline and satin-finish PMMA discs for a refined look.

Light refracts through the PMMA spheres to create a soft, multiplied sparkle rather than a harsh glare, while the satin-finish diffuser at the base provides even, comfortable ambient illumination. The design works well as a focal pendant in living rooms, dining areas and reception spaces.

Suspension is by a three-point steel cable system with a white ceiling canopy and on-site height adjustment. The Caboche Plus carries an IP20 rating for indoor use. The MyLight version is dimmable via Bluetooth using the Casambi app, and an electric decentralisation kit is available for specific installation needs.
