Foscarini Caboche Pendant is a statement suspension light designed by Eliana Gerotto & Patricia Urquiola for Foscarini. This jewel-like pendant uses a toroidal frame encrusted with transparent spheres to deliver decorative ambient illumination for living rooms, dining areas and stylish reception spaces.

The design features transparent PC arches studded with multiple rows of clear PMMA spheres that create the signature beaded surface. The Caboche Plus restyling introduces a lighter, more transparent shape and a twist-lock attachment for the spheres. It is available in Grey and Clear finishes.

Build quality combines two powder-coated steel sheets that house a double-sided LED board mounted on an aluminium disc acting as a heat dissipator, plus an opaline PMMA disc on top and a satin-finish PMMA diffuser at the bottom. The result is a refined mix of polymer clarity and metal structure.

Light is refracted and multiplied by the dense cluster of spheres to produce a sparkling, diffused glow rather than a hard beam. The pendant is optimised for ambient decorative lighting where a soft, jewel-like presence is desirable.

Installation uses a three-point suspension with thin steel cables and a white ceiling canopy; an electric decentralisation kit is available. The lamp has an IP20 rating and incorporates an integrated LED board developed by Foscarini. A MyLight version is dimmable via Bluetooth using the Casambi app.
