Foscarini Caboche Pendant is a decorative suspension lamp designed by Eliana Gerotto and Patricia Urquiola that turns light into a sparkling, sculptural centrepiece for interiors. The Caboche Plus restyling favours transparency and a lighter profile while delivering diffused ambient illumination.

The pendant features a toroidal body formed from numerous transparent, rounded PMMA spheres applied to an internal polycarbonate frame, with a redesigned attachment system for a seamless look. It is finished for a clear, crystalline effect and is available in Grey and Clear.

Build quality is evident in the mixed-material construction: powder-coated steel sheets house a double-sided LED board, which is mounted on an aluminium disc that acts as a heat dissipator. The top is protected by a small opaline PMMA disc and the bottom by a satin-finish PMMA diffuser for refined detailing.

The Caboche refracts and scatters light across its surface to create a sparkling ambient glow while the opaline and satin diffusers ensure even distribution. A MyLight version offers Bluetooth dimming via the Casambi app for flexible control.

Installation uses a three-point steel cable suspension with thin wires and a central electrical cord; a white ceiling canopy is supplied and an electric decentralisation kit is available. The fixture is rated IP20 for indoor use and carries a 1 year manufacturer warranty.
