The Foscarini Bump Pendant is a ceiling-mounted pendant light by Foscarini, designed by Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba. Its semi-spherical, sculpted dome takes cues from organic forms to create an informal, tactile presence that works beautifully in interiors.

The shade features an irregular, dimpled surface—the signature “fake dents”—and is available in Petroleum, Gold, Black and Frost finishes. The pendant hangs from a thin transparent suspension cable with a white canopy, giving the dome a floating appearance.

Built from a liquid-coated injection-moulded ABS and PMMA blend, the Bump shade pairs durable engineering with a soft, tactile finish. The frosted option uses a translucent treatment to create a semi-opaque look that feels both modern and handmade.

Light is produced by a single internal lamp positioned near the top of the shade so the fixture provides a concentrated point of light while the wide open base directs clear downlight. The Frost version additionally diffuses light into the surrounding room for a softer ambient glow; the matt finishes focus light downward.

The Bump Pendant carries an IP20 rating and includes a transparent suspension cable and white ceiling canopy. An electric decentralisation kit is available for flexible wiring runs. The product has a 1 year manufacturer's warranty.
