The Foscarini Bit Decorative Wall Light, designed by Ferruccio Laviani, is a sculptural wall-mounted lamp that blends minimalist geometry with expressive, modular styling. It’s intended as decorative ambient lighting for interiors where form and mood matter as much as function.

Bit is presented as an alphabet of simple shapes and colours, made to be combined into personalised compositions. The design centres on a shallowly domed circular diffuser set against a vertical rectangular metal backplate, creating a strong graphic presence on the wall.

Crafted with a satin-finish opaque glass diffuser and a metal mounting plate, the fixture uses a small decorative metal glass-lock to secure the glass to the fitting. The visible materials emphasise tactile contrast between smooth glass and powder-coated metal.

Light is delivered as soft, diffused illumination with a reflected glow on the wall, thanks to the satin glass surface. The result is warm, even ambient light that reduces glare and highlights the lamp’s graphic silhouette.

The product carries an IP20 rating and is supplied with transparent wiring, a plug and an ON/OFF switch on the cable. The wall fitting includes a metal mount and canopy finished in epoxy powder coating for discreet installation.
