The Foscarini Birdie Pendant is a sculptural pendant light from the Birdie range, designed by Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba. It reinterprets the classic lampshade with a contemporary twist and is suited to ambient and task lighting in living, dining and kitchen spaces.

The fixture features a flared, bell-shaped conical shade with a glossy profile; the product is shown here in a high-gloss grey and is available in White. The clean geometry is softened by a nature-inspired motif for a modern focal point.

A distinctive white, Y-shaped 'twig' detail sits at the apex and connects the shade to a single thin suspension cable. The interior of the shade is white to maximise downward light reflection.

Birdie is conceived as a lighting system with a variable quantity of small diffusers, allowing flexible compositions. The shape and white lining deliver soft, even ambient light with useful task illumination beneath the shade.
