The Foscarini Big Bang Pendant is a sculptural suspension light designed by Enrico Franzolini and Vicente Garcia Jimenez for Foscarini. Its deconstructed, geometric silhouette makes it a striking focal pendant for living rooms, dining areas and larger interior spaces where design-led impact matters.

The fixture is built from multiple intersecting rectangular and polygonal planes arranged in an irregular, explosion-like composition. It is available in Red and White finishes and reads as a bold, modern sculpture even when switched off.

Build quality pairs translucent methacrylate slabs with a powder-coated metal mounting plate; the red panels are silk-screen printed on their exterior faces. Purpose-designed couplings and interlocking cutouts allow the slabs to slot together to form the layered volume without visible fasteners on the panel faces.

The layered planes provide direct downward illumination and soft, diffused ambient light at the same time, producing a dramatic interplay of light and shadow that suits larger rooms and statement spaces. The translucent methacrylate panels help scatter light for a softened, architectural glow.

Installation uses a slim stainless steel suspension cable with a separate transparent flexible power cord rising from the central canopy; the fitting includes a galvanised metal bracket and powder-coated canopy and is rated IP20 for indoor use. A decentralisation kit is available for alternate canopy placement.
