The Foscarini Big Bang Pendant, designed by Enrico Franzolini and Vicente Garcia Jimenez, is a bold suspension pendant from the Big Bang range. Its deconstructed, geometric form of intersecting planes reads like modern sculpture and is intended as a dramatic focal point for residential or commercial interiors.

The fixture is formed from multiple overlapping translucent methacrylate slabs fitted together with purpose-designed couplings to create a dynamic volume. The design is available in the translucent white finish and is also offered in a silk-screened red version; it comes in L and XL variants for larger spaces.

Craftsmanship is clear in the material mix: six shaped methacrylate panels slot around an internal epoxy powder-coated aluminium plate. The slabs are silk-screen printed in the coloured version and the assembly uses precise cut couplings for a clean, architectural appearance.

Light is produced from a central source within the cluster of planes, delivering direct downward illumination together with soft, diffused ambient light through the layered panels. The arrangement creates an ever-changing play of light and shadow that varies with viewing angle.

The pendant is suspended by two stainless steel cables alongside a transparent electrical power cord, and includes a canopy with a galvanised metal bracket and an epoxy powder-coated white cover. The product is rated IP20 and a canopy decentralisation kit is available.
