The Foscarini Bahia Ceiling & Wall Lamp, designed by Lucidi & Pevere, is a decorative surface-mounted fixture that combines sculptural form with ambient performance. Its large, asymmetrical composition references an archipelago of overlapping shapes and is intended for indoor spaces where soft, reflected light and shadow make an impact.

Bahia is built from three nested, egg-shaped plates arranged in an offset, organic layout. The fixture is finished in a uniform matt white that emphasises form and the interplay of light and shade. It mounts flush to either a wall or ceiling, offering a slender profile that suits low-clearance rooms.

Crafted from injection-moulded polycarbonate, Bahia delivers a clean, non-reflective surface and smooth continuous curves. The tiered construction conceals the lighting technology behind the upper plates, giving the lamp a refined, sculptural look while keeping the mechanics out of sight.

Light is emitted indirectly: the layered plates reflect and diffuse illumination to produce soft, concentric glows and a gentle game of shadows. This makes Bahia ideal for living rooms, hallways and bedrooms where ambient, decorative lighting is preferred over harsh direct beams.

Installation is straightforward: the largest rear plate serves as the primary mounting base for secure, flush fixing to wall or ceiling.
