The Foscarini Allegro Pendant from the Allegro range, designed by Atelier Oï, is a ceiling-mounted decorative pendant that blends graphic form with lighting effect. Its hourglass, hyperboloid silhouette reads as contemporary sculpture while delivering overhead interior illumination.

Formed from numerous thin vertical metal rods, the fixture narrows at a dramatic waist before flaring at both ends to create a dynamic architectural profile. The rods show a warm, polished metallic tone that contrasts with a darker circular rim at the top, and the spaced lines produce a moiré effect as light passes through.

A central cylindrical housing in a reflective silver or chrome finish is suspended within the cage to accommodate the lamping. Thin aircraft-grade steel suspension cables hold the pendant level while a separate wavy electrical cord runs alongside to feed the internal fitting.

The open, cage-like construction produces expressive linear shadows and a soft ambient glow ideal for living rooms, dining areas or design-focused commercial spaces. The sculptural form is intended to be both a statement piece and a practical overhead light.
