The Elstead Provence Rise-and-Fall Pendant is a French‑inspired ceiling light from the Provence range, modelled on mid‑1900s café and bistro fittings. Its purposeful vintage look and adjustable height make it ideal for kitchens, dining tables and island lighting where both style and function matter.

Design-wise the pendant pairs a conical metal shade with an exposed pulley and bulbous counterweight for a balanced, industrial‑vintage silhouette. It is available in Polished Nickel, Old Bronze and Antique Brass and is suspended on dark braided fabric cords that run through a circular ceiling rose and pulley system.

Built from metal with a softly brushed finish on the brass option, the Provence pendant showcases solid mechanical detailing: pulley wheels, a ring‑detailed counterweight and a sturdy cylindrical lamp holder. The exposed hardware is both decorative and functional, emphasising the piece's workshop heritage.

Lighting is provided by a single E27 lamp (not included), accepting up to 60W and compatible with dimmable bulbs for adjustable ambience. The conical shade directs light downward, making this pendant perfect for task and table lighting in domestic or café‑style spaces.

This fitting is for interior use and carries an IP20 rating. It does not include a lamp; the ceiling rose houses the pulley mechanism and the fixture is covered by a general 2 year guarantee. Installation will require standard ceiling wiring and an E27 lamp to complete the look.
