David Hunt Lighting Cosmos 8-Light Pendant

The David Hunt Lighting Cosmos 8-Light Pendant from the Cosmos range is an oversized sputnik-style ceiling pendant in solid brass. Finished in a matte butter brass with open glass globe shades, it’s designed to act as a dramatic centrepiece for large living spaces, entrance halls or above dining tables.

The design uses a central brass sphere with multiple radiating arms, eight of which carry clear open-ended glass globes while others finish in solid brass spheres for a sculptural, celestial effect. The fixture is supplied in the butter brass finish shown.

Crafted largely from solid brass with clear glass shades, the Cosmos pendant is built to feel substantial without being fussy. It hangs from a matching ceiling canopy via a metal chain and central support rod, and the open-globe design gives the piece a refined, tactile look.

Lighting is provided by eight GLS-style lamps seated in visible ES (E27) sockets. The fitting accepts 8 x 40W max ES GLS bulbs (bulbs not included); we recommend LED E27 lamps for long life and efficiency. The pendant is dimmable when used with compatible dimmable bulbs and a suitable dimmer.

The hanging height is adjustable at installation (110–210cm). This is an oversized item (approximate weight 10.0kg) and may be delivered on a pallet; it may not fit through doorways narrower than 65cm. Please ensure you have adequate fixings and support and note that bulbs and dimmer hardware are not included. The fitting carries a 1 year warranty.
