The Dar Virgil Table Lamp is a cordless table lamp from the Virgil range by Dar, blending a neoclassical silhouette with modern portability. Its tiered pedestal base and fluted column give a classical architectural look while the pleated fabric shade keeps the overall feel warm and traditional. It’s designed for localized surface illumination on bedsides, desks and sideboards.

The design balances formality and everyday use: a slim, ribbed stem rising from a circular stepped base topped by an Empire-style pleated shade. It’s offered in Polished Nickel and Matt Antique Brass to suit both contemporary and period interiors.

Built from metal with a brushed antique brass appearance on the Matt Antique Brass option, the lamp pairs a solid, weighted base with fine pleated fabric to create a refined, tactile finish. The recessed patina in the fluted grooves highlights the sculptural stem.

The pleated shade diffuses light to produce a soft, ambient glow ideal for mood or task lighting at close range. As a portable table lamp it works well for bedside reading, a desk accent or a living-room side table where gentle, indirect light is preferred.
