The Dar Siam Tapered Drum Shade is a classic, pleated lampshade from Dar's Siam range. This tapered drum (empire-style) shade is crafted in a cotton-mix fabric and is designed to bring soft, decorative ambient light to table lamps or ceiling fittings.

The shade features a tapered silhouette with a smaller top opening and a larger base, and a surface covered in uniform, vertical knife pleats for a refined, traditional look. It is offered in multiple finishes and sizes to suit different fixtures and interiors.

Made from a translucent cotton-mix, the fine-pleated texture adds visual depth while the clean, rolled top and bottom edges give a neat, finished appearance. The off-white/cream tone provides a versatile, timeless aesthetic.

The translucent fabric allows a warm internal glow while directing a good proportion of light downwards, making it ideal for ambient or task-focused use. It is compatible with standard lamp fittings and is designed to work with a single bulb.

Bulb not included. The shade takes 1 x ES GLS bulb, 60W maximum. It fits standard lamp bases and can be used on compatible ceiling fittings; check your lamp or fitting for ES connection compatibility. The product comes with a 2 year standard warranty, extendable to 5 years with online registration.
