The Dar Jamelia Pendant is a drum-shade ceiling pendant from Dar. The understated Jamelia shadelier pairs a large, horizontally oriented fabric drum with polished chrome hardware and an exposed geometric inner frame, making it a stylish choice for dining areas, living rooms and general ambient lighting.

Design is intentionally simple and balanced: the cylindrical drum has straight vertical sides with a flat top and bottom, while a shallow circular canopy, short chain and central stem keep proportions clean. The shade appears in a soft grey fabric with a matching lining and the metalwork shows a bright polished chrome finish.

Build quality is evident in the mixed-material approach: a soft fabric shade contrasts with smooth reflective chrome on the canopy, chain, stem and inner frame. The inner metal framework sits below the shade to add architectural interest beyond a plain drum pendant.

Lighting performance is versatile — the shade diffuses light for softer, even illumination while the open bottom gives direct downward light. Multiple bulb holders arranged around the central stem provide substantial general output suitable for social spaces and task areas.

Installation is hardwired into a ceiling junction box via a solid canopy and downrod connection; the oval-link chain allows hanging height adjustment during installation. The fixture carries an IP20 rating and is therefore intended for indoor, dry locations.
