Dar Tapered Drum Lampshade is a tapered drum (empire) light shade from Dar. The design pairs a refined, traditional aesthetic with practical performance, making it ideal for table lamps and floor lamps where directed, ambient light is required.

The shade’s exterior features a silk-like fabric with sharply defined vertical box pleats and matching fabric trim bands at the top and bottom. It is available in a 40cm size to suit compatible lamp bases.

Built with a faux-silk outer and a smooth white interior lining, this shade balances a subtle sheen with a reflective inner surface to maximise light diffusion. The structured pleating gives the shade visual depth and a neat, tailored silhouette.

The tapered form gently directs more light downward while the pleated texture creates an attractive play of light and shadow when illuminated. It’s a stylish choice for living rooms, bedrooms, and reception areas where classic detail matters.
