Dar Asmara 6-Light Pendant

The Dar Asmara 6-Light Pendant is a statement pendant from Dar's Asmara range that brings vintage glamour to interiors. Constructed from metal and glass, this pendant is designed for ambient, decorative lighting in dining rooms, living areas and entrance halls where a striking focal point is required.

The design features a bulbous, lantern-like silhouette with a metal frame finished in antique brass and an intricate lattice of clear faceted crystals. A central band of large rectangular prisms contrasts with densely packed round octagonal crystals at the ends, while a decorative metal finial completes the look. The fitting is suspended from a matching antique brass chain with a circular ceiling canopy and an integrated power cable for a neat appearance.

Crafted from metal and glass, the Asmara pendant is built to feel substantial — it has a 50cm diameter and a net weight of 6kg. The mixed crystal shapes create texture and depth, reflecting the piece's traditional, vintage-inspired aesthetic while remaining robust for regular indoor use.

Lighting comes from six internal sources that sit behind the crystal layers to refract light and produce a shimmering effect across the room. The pendant requires 6 x 40W max SES candelabra bulbs (not included), making it suitable as a primary light for medium to large rooms where decorative, ambient illumination is the aim.

Height is adjustable from 70cm to 160cm to suit different ceiling heights. The Asmara is Class I (earthed) and rated IP20 for indoor use. It arrives ready for chain suspension with a canopy; bulbs are not included. Warranty is 2 years standard, extended to 5 years with online registration.
