Buster and Punch Dummy Dimmer Module

The Buster and Punch Dummy Dimmer Module is an intermediate push on/off switch designed for 3‑way installations where three or more switches control the same light. It mimics the feel and appearance of a working dimmer so your multi-gang plate stays consistent while the lighting remains controlled from a primary dimmer.

Visually the module has a rectangular white moulded plastic housing with a central black plastic control shaft finished with a green tip. The shaft features a D-shaped profile to accept compatible rotary or push knobs, and the module is built to sit alongside Buster and Punch dimmer modules for a seamless look.

Built as a modular electrical component, the unit includes snap-in mounting clips for subframe installation and screw terminal connections for secure internal wiring. Its construction is utilitarian and purpose-driven to match the rest of the B+P range.

Functionally this is a dummy intermediate switch: it provides push on/off operation only and does not offer light-level adjustment. Use it wherever you need a visually matching control in a multi-switch circuit while leaving dimming to the primary dimmer.

This module is compatible with Buster and Punch detail kits and fits all B+P dimmer modules; it is not compatible with detail kits from other suppliers. A 2-year warranty covers faults in normal domestic use.
