The Astro Trimless Square Recessed Downlight is a trimless, plaster-in ceiling fixture from Astro, designed to deliver clean, directional illumination with an architectural, seamless look. It suits interior installations where a discreet, built-in light source is required and offers IP65 protection for moisture-prone areas.

Its minimalist square-within-a-square aesthetic lets the light merge into the ceiling plane. The fixture is supplied with both matte black and matte white bezels so you can choose a contrasting inner aperture or match the ceiling finish.

Built around a rigid recessed housing with a matt texture, the downlight features a deep-set internal chamber and a black inner bezel to baffle stray light and reduce visual glare, keeping the source discreet.

The fitting accepts a single GU10 lamp (1 x 6W max LED), positioned in the recessed chamber for focused, directional illumination suitable for task or accent lighting in living spaces and utility areas.

This is a true trimless product and must be installed prior to the final plaster skim to achieve a flush finish; note the terminal block is only accessible from above. The unit carries an IP65 rating and includes a 3-year manufacturer warranty.
