The Astro Trimless Round Adjustable Downlight is a trimless recessed downlight from Astro designed for architectural plaster-in ceilings. It delivers directional overhead illumination with a minimalist aesthetic ideal for living areas, corridors and contemporary commercial spaces.

Its circular aperture sits flush with the ceiling, revealing a stepped concentric interior and a deep-set lamp head that can be tilted on a gimbal to aim light precisely. The visible trim is finished in a matte off-white for an unobtrusive, integrated look.

Built primarily from metal, the downlight features stepped internal bezels that add a subtle geometric detail to the recessed cavity. A textured lens or reflector softens and diffuses the beam for a balanced appearance in the ceiling void.

The adjustable gimbal and deep-set position reduce direct line-of-sight glare while allowing targeted accenting or task illumination. The fitting is described as an LED downlight with a CRI of 80 and a soft, controlled beam suitable for general and accent lighting.

Please note this product must be installed before the final plaster skim to achieve its trimless finish. Forward voltage is 9.67V and a driver is not included. The fitting carries an IP20 rating and comes with a 3-year warranty.
