Astro Terra 42 LED Recessed Ground Uplight by Astro is a round, low-profile exterior LED ground light from the Terra range, finished in anodised aluminium for a contemporary look. Designed as an in-ground or recessed uplight, it protects the light source behind a central clear lens while delivering precise upward illumination for pathways, hardscapes or recessed floor applications.

The fixture’s clean, seamless light-silver bezel and matching inner trim create a minimalist face with no visible fixings, so the unit sits unobtrusively in the surface. The single clear lens is recessed into the trim, producing a crisp, technical beam rather than a diffused glow.

Built from robust metal with an anodised aluminium finish, the Terra 42 feels engineered and durable. The product carries a 3 year manufacturer warranty and a compact, flush design that integrates neatly into hardscape and interior floor installations.

The clear lens transmits direct light from the internal LED optics to give a focused uplight suitable for accenting architectural features, lining paths or providing subtle floor-recessed illumination. The fixture has a colour rendering index (CRI) of 80, offering natural colour appearance for most exterior and transitional indoor uses.

This unit is IP67 rated for protection against dust and temporary immersion in water. A lamp is supplied with the product, but the driver is not included and must be provided separately; a transformer is not included. Astro recommends against driving over the Terra 42 LED when installed.
