The Astro Taro Recessed Downlight from the Taro range is a matt-white, round adjustable ceiling fitting designed to deliver directional interior lighting with a clean architectural profile. Its nested ring form and compact face make it ideal for accenting art, task areas or creating layered ambient schemes.

Designed around a concentric multi-ring gimbal, the Taro's inner assembly tilts to precisely direct light while the outer trim remains flush with the ceiling. The matt white finish is intended to blend seamlessly with standard white ceilings for a discreet, design-savvy look.

Construction uses a layered ring system that hides most of the body within the ceiling while allowing reliable tilt movement. A faceted metallic reflector is visible at the centre, providing a controlled, focused beam and a crisp visual aperture.

Lighting performance is focused and controllable — perfect for accent or directional general lighting where you need to highlight a feature or zone. The recessed design keeps sightlines clean while letting you aim light exactly where it’s needed.
