Astro Minima Round Recessed Downlight from Astro is a compact architectural ceiling light designed for clean, minimalist interiors. The Minima Round pairs a subtle square outer plate with a circular recessed aperture to deliver focused downward illumination while keeping a low profile in the ceiling.

The design features a matte white outer bezel that sits flush with the ceiling and a matte black internal cylinder that creates a high-contrast, trimless-style look. Available in Black and Matt White, the finish options let you choose either a discreet or high-contrast aesthetic.

Built with a rigid frame and a non-reflective internal baffle, the luminaire uses a prismatic textured lens to soften the beam and improve diffusion. The deep-set lamp and matte baffle help conceal the light source for a clean, glare-controlled appearance.

Lighting performance is focused and comfortable: the recessed, deep-set lamp gives a high cut-off angle to minimise visual glare while directing light downward for task or accent illumination. The textured lens further refines beam quality for even coverage.

Practical to install: requires 1 x GU10 lamp (max 50W), dimmable depending on lamp choice. No external driver is required. This is a Class I (earthed) wired-in luminaire with IP20 rating and is suitable for bathroom Zone 3. Install after plastering; recess depth 150 mm with a round cutout diameter of 76 mm (3 in). Comes with a 3 year warranty.
