The Astro Minima Recessed Downlight from the Minima range is a fixed, round recessed ceiling downlight by Astro. Its minimalist form and deep-set aperture make it ideal for architectural ceiling lighting and bathroom use where an IP65 rating is required.

Design follows a narrow bezel and a clean internal cavity with a conical baffle that shields the lamp. The Minima is available in Matt Black and Matt White and is intended for flush recessed installation with a non-adjustable, fixed beam.

Built from metal with a smooth, non-reflective finish, the Minima’s recessed, high-contrast baffle reduces stray light and creates a crisp architectural look. The matte surface indicates a powder-coated or matte-painted metal construction for longevity in damp environments.

The downlight accepts 1× GU10 lamp (maximum 50W). The deep-recessed aperture produces a low-glare, directional light ideal for task and accent illumination. Dimming is possible when used with a compatible dimmable GU10 lamp. Its IP65 rating makes it suitable for bathroom Zones 1, 2 and 3.

Install after plastering; recessed installation depth is 150 mm. Lamps are required separately (1× GU10). The product is covered by a 3-year manufacturer warranty.
