The Astro Minima Recessed Downlight is a round adjustable ceiling downlight from Astro's Minima range. Designed for directional illumination, it suits modern interiors and plastered ceilings where a minimalist, integrated look is required.

The design pairs a clean outer bezel with an internally tilting lamp housing so you can aim light where you need it. The fitting is available in Matt Black and Matt White to match contemporary schemes.

Built for a discreet plaster finish, the downlight uses a deep-set conical baffle finished in matte black and a clear lens with a faceted reflector to control output and reduce visual glare. The uniform non-reflective finish keeps the ceiling plane visually quiet.

It accepts a single GU10 lamp (1 x 50W max) and produces focused directional light ideal for accenting artwork, task areas or circulation spaces. The deep baffle creates a ‘dark light’ effect, concentrating the beam while limiting spill.

This wired-in fitting is intended for installation after plastering. Recess depth is 150 mm with a round cutout diameter of 76 mm. Rated IP20 and suitable for bathroom Zone 3. Lamps are not included and the product carries a 3 year warranty.
