The Astro Mashiko Bathroom Ceiling Light from Astro's Mashiko range is a square, surface-mounted flush ceiling light that pairs modern Art Deco geometry with bathroom-ready performance. It’s designed to deliver ambient illumination in small bathrooms, cloakrooms and low-ceiling spaces.

The design features a low-profile metal frame with integrated white translucent glass diffuser panels on the underside and all four sides for even, multi-directional light. The central square motif gives an architectural focal point and the Mashiko is available in Bronze and Polished Chrome finishes.

Made from metal and glass, the Mashiko has a reflective polished frame and smooth diffuser panels that hide the lamp sources while throwing soft, even light. Visible fixing points and a neat centred metal plate underline the fixture’s considered, robust construction.

This ceiling light uses two 60W E27 lamps, providing wide ambient coverage from both the side and bottom panels — ideal as a primary light in smaller rooms or used in multiples for larger spaces. The unit is suitable for bathroom use thanks to its IP44 protection.

The Mashiko is IP44 rated for bathroom zones 2 and 3 and is Class II double-insulated for safe installation where a protective earth is not required. It includes an integral electronic ballast. Please note that lamps are not included and should be ordered separately.
