The Astro Marasino Freestanding Uplight from Astro's Marasino range is a minimalist interior uplight that blends sculptural form with practical performance. Its cylindrical plaster body and sharply angled top make it ideal for low-level placement to wash walls or highlight architectural details in living rooms, hallways or bedrooms.

The design pairs a solid, geometric cylinder with a diagonal aperture, creating a focused uplight that reduces glare. The clean matte plaster finish is paintable, allowing the Marasino to be customised to match or contrast with your decor.

Built from plaster/ceramic materials, the Marasino has a smooth, tactile surface that reads as crafted rather than mass-produced. The white internal cavity helps reflect and soften the light, producing an even upward wash.

Lighting is provided by a 50 W GU10 lamp recessed into the angled top for directed, glare-controlled output. The fixture is Class II double insulated and carries an IP20 rating; it is specified as suitable for bathroom zone 3.
