The Astro Marasino plaster floor uplight is a freestanding, sculptural column-style lamp designed to provide soft, ambient uplight. Its minimalist silhouette and paintable white plaster finish make it as much an architectural object as a light source, ideal for living rooms, halls and bathroom zone 3.

Form follows function: a tall, cylindrical column rises from a low-profile base to a shallow, recessed aperture that directs light upwards to wash ceilings and walls. The pared-back design reads modern and timeless, allowing the piece to blend with contemporary or classic interiors.

Finished in a tactile, matte plaster, the Marasino has an artisanal feel that contrasts with common metal finishes. The plaster surface is paintable, so you can customise the piece to match your scheme while retaining its monolithic shape and visual weight.

Lighting comes from a single GU10 lamp (50W maximum) housed in the recessed top; the uplight layout provides indirect, glare-free illumination for atmosphere rather than task work. Bulbs are not included so you can choose the lamp type and colour temperature to suit the space.

The Marasino is Class II double insulated and IP20 rated, and is specified as suitable for bathroom zone 3. It ships without lamps and without a separate driver or transformer. Astro backs the product with a 3-year warranty for peace of mind.
