The Astro Lucca Surface Reading Light is a wall-mounted reading light from the Lucca range by Astro. Its minimalist profile and mixed-material finish give a contemporary take on the classic gooseneck task lamp, ideal for bedside and desk-adjacent reading where focused, comfortable light is needed.

Design-wise the Lucca favours a slender cylindrical head, a circular wall base and a flexible matt-black silicone gooseneck for precise aiming. The light is offered in matt black, bronze, matt nickel and matt gold finishes to suit modern interiors.

Built from metal with a soft-touch silicone arm, the Lucca balances tactile contrast and durable construction. The head features a matt-black bezel and a deeply recessed LED for visual comfort, while the bronze option shows a subtle brushed grain for added texture.

Lighting performance is focused and low in glare thanks to the recessed LED source and bezel. With a CRI of 90, the Lucca renders colours accurately for reading and close tasks, delivering a narrow, task-oriented beam rather than broad ambient light.

The surface-mount design is intended for direct installation onto a wall and includes an integrated rocker switch on the base for easy operation. The fitting carries an IP20 rating and a 3-year manufacturer warranty for indoor use.
