The Astro Lucca Recessed Reading Light is a pared-back recessed wall reader from the Lucca range by Astro, designed for precise task lighting. Its slender profile and silicone gooseneck update the classic reading lamp for contemporary bedrooms, studies and bedside applications.

The design pairs a slim circular recessed base with a narrow cylindrical head and a flexible matt-black silicone arm for easy positioning. It is available in Bronze, Matt Gold, Matt Nickel and Matt Black to suit a variety of interiors.

Built from metal with a smooth silicone neck, the Lucca feels lightweight in use yet solid in construction. The metal components show a subtle textured finish that complements the matt silicone for a considered, design-led look.

Lighting is focused and comfortable thanks to a deeply recessed, low-glare LED arrangement and a matt-black bezel that reduces spill and glare. The product carries a high CRI of 90 for good colour rendering in reading and task situations.

The Lucca is intended for flush recessed installation into a wall and includes a low-profile rocker switch on the recessed plate for manual control. It is rated IP20 and comes with a 3-year manufacturer warranty.
