Astro Dimming System Connector

The Astro Dimming System Connector is a gel-filled insulation-displacement connector from Astro, designed for secure low-voltage joins in lighting and dimming systems. It allows installers to quickly connect LED products & drivers without complicated preparation.

The connector features a translucent clear plastic body for visual confirmation of wire placement and a distinct yellow or amber cap that houses the activation mechanism. Its compact, somewhat L-shaped profile and flattened wire entry make it well suited to tight spaces inside fixtures or control enclosures.

When compressed, the yellow cap drives an internal metal contact through the wire insulation to establish an electrical path. The internal chamber contains a protective gel sealant to guard the connection against corrosion and moisture ingress, improving long-term reliability.
