The Astro Hashira Pendant is a pendant light from Astro's Hashira range. Its faceted, prismatic form takes cues from neoclassical architecture and is designed to wash a defined pool of light downwards, making it ideal over kitchen islands, dining tables and other task-focused zones.

The design is deliberately sculptural: a vertical, faceted profile that casts complex, echoing shadows. It is available in Matt Gold, Matt Nickel and Matt Black and comes with a coordinating ceiling rose for a tidy, architectural look.

Built from metal with a seamless exterior, the pendant shows off tight manufacturing detail and a recessed lamp housing. The finish-matched suspension cord and canopy keep the silhouette minimalist, while the slender body reads like a subtle design feature rather than a bulky fixture.

Lighting is focused and low-glare thanks to the recessed lamp position; the fitting uses a standard-length GU10 lamp to produce a clear, directed pool of light. It works brilliantly alone or in rows for heightened visual drama over counters and dining tables.

The pendant has an IP20 rating and is intended for interior use. Lamps are not included; it requires a standard GU10 lamp. The fitting includes the coordinating ceiling rose and adjustable suspension cord. A 3-year warranty is provided for peace of mind.
