The Astro Fuse Wall Reading Light from the Fuse range is a compact, contemporary wall-mounted reading light designed for focused task lighting in bedrooms and reading nooks. The Fuse 3 update adds a concealed micro switch and a low-glare, deeply recessed LED for comfortable close-range illumination.

Design-wise the Fuse is deliberately minimalist: a slim vertical rectangular backplate with a cylindrical adjustable spotlight head that pulls out and pivots for direction. The head nests flush when not in use and the product is offered in a choice of six colours, with a matt black bezel at the aperture to reduce glare.

Built in metal with a subtly brushed exterior, the Fuse balances refined surface detail with robust construction. The contrast between the brushed exterior and the matt black internal bezel gives an architectural, design-led look that suits modern interiors.

Lighting performance is tailored for reading and other close-up tasks: the deeply recessed LED and matt black bezel minimise glare and provide a focused pool of light. The adjustable head lets you aim the beam precisely where you need it without disturbing the room ambience.

Practical details make installation straightforward: Fuse 3 uses a push-fit terminal block for easy loop in/out wiring and tool-free connection. The unit includes a concealed micro switch that automatically turns the light off when the head is returned to its flush resting position. Rated IP20 and backed by a 3-year warranty.
