The Astro Recessed Downlight is a trimless plaster-in recessed downlight by Astro, designed for architectural ceiling installations. Finished for plastering and painting, it is suitable for bathroom zone 3 and provides focused downward illumination for general and accent lighting.

Its form features a square, deep-recessed aperture with internal walls shaped into a four-sided pyramidal recess. The trimless construction installs flush with the ceiling for a zero-sightline effect and a clean geometric cutout that emphasises minimalist interiors.

Built for smooth finishing, the fitting has a matte white, sandable surface intended to be plastered over and painted to match the surrounding ceiling. The sharp, angular geometry creates subtle shadow lines that enhance the architectural look once finished.

The deeply set lamp position reduces glare and improves visual comfort while delivering directional downward light suitable for corridors, living spaces and task areas. The tapered internal cavity focuses light for neat illumination without fuss.

Install after plastering: fill gaps, sand smooth and paint for a seamless result. The product carries an IP20 rating and comes with a 3-year manufacturer warranty.
