The Astro Atelier Desk Lamp is a directional desk lamp from Astro's Atelier range, designed for precise task lighting in home offices, bedside tables and study nooks. Its form references industrial aeronautical engineering for a purposeful, modern look.

Design-wise the Atelier features a conical bell-shaped shade with a matte black exterior and a white interior to boost reflectance. A singular, slender cylindrical stem sits at a fixed diagonal, supported by a thin, flat circular base. Polished aluminium hardware at the joints adds contrast and a Spitfire-inspired engineering accent.

Built in metal throughout, the lamp pairs robust mechanical joints with refined finishes. Polished aluminium components are used for the articulated connections at the top and base, delivering both durability and a high-shine design detail against the matte surfaces.

Lighting performance is focused and controllable: the articulated top joint lets the shade pivot and tilt for directed task light, while an exposed cord loop near the shade accommodates movement without straining wiring. The white interior of the shade improves light throw for clear, concentrated illumination suited to desks and bedrooms.

Please note the driver is not included. The lamp is rated IP20 for indoor use, features an inline on/off toggle switch integrated into the black power cord, and the cord enters the back of the shade where it is secured along the stem. The product comes with a 3-year warranty.
