The Astro Ascoli Ceiling Spotlight is a compact, surface-mounted ceiling spotlight from Astro's Ascoli range. This directional task light shows the range's minimalist intent with clean linear proportions and a modern, architectural presence suitable for interior accenting and task illumination.

The fixture pairs a cylindrical lamp head with a smooth, circular mounting plate and a robust knuckle joint that pivots and tilts for precise aiming. The exterior shows a subtle horizontal brushed texture while the interior is finished in reflective white to optimise output. The Ascoli is offered in multiple variants to suit different schemes.

Build quality is straightforward and disciplined: a low-profile design with a flush mounting disc and concealed fixings gives a neat, contemporary look. The horizontal grain on the metalwork provides a subtle industrial edge without visual clutter.

Lighting performance focuses on directional, focused illumination from a single light source housed within the cylindrical shade. The reflective white interior helps deliver even, efficient light suitable for accenting artworks, task areas or circulation spaces.

Important installation notes: this product is for plasterboard installation only and is not suitable for mounting in a solid ceiling. Mounting dimensions are 80mm x 128mm. The fitting is IP20 rated for indoor use and comes with a 3-year manufacturer warranty.
